Butterfly Release
Columbia Montour Home Hospice (CMHH) is holding their Annual Wings of
Hope Butterfly Release September 19 at 1:00pm at Maria Hall in Danville.
The ceremony will include music,
inspirational messages and a public viewing of the names of those being
remembered or honored. Butterflies cost $10 for one, $18 for two, or $25
for three. Participants can release their butterflies themselves, or
have a volunteer from CMHH release them. You do not need to purchase
butterflies to attend the Wings of Hope Butterfly Release.

30-week course for anyone seeking a
Child Development Associate (CDA)
credential.
Ideal for those who work with, or would
like to work with, young children in a
licensed child care center, the
training will enable participants to:
• Learn
to establish a healthy learning
environment for children while advancing
their physical and intellectual
competence.
• Learn
to support the social and emotional
development of children and establish
productive relationships with families.
• Gain
professional opportunities and
motivation for further educational
opportunities while advancing in the
early childhood profession.
According to the CDA Council, a Child
Development Associate (CDA) is an
individual who has successfully
completed the CDA assessment process and
has been awarded the CDA credential.
CDAs are able to meet the specific needs
of children and work with parents and
other adults to nurture children's
physical, social, emotional, and
intellectual growth in a child
development framework.
The 120-hour program begins September
14. Completion of the training allows
participants to apply for the CDA
