WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP — A New Columbia woman is accused of sharing explicit images of her daughter to embarrass her. State police say the alleged incident happened in January. According to NorthcentralPA.com, 51-year-old Amy Sue Burd was charged after state police at Milton were called to investigate.
Court documents say the alleged victim told troopers Burd accessed her iPad and sent intimate photos to one of her friends. Troopers say Burd allegedly admitted sending the images to make her daughter “look bad.” Police say they later searched an iPad and cell phone used to send the photos.
Burd is charged with misdemeanor counts of selling obscene or sexual materials and harassment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for .
