MOUNT CARMEL — The News Item reports a homeless man who allegedly violated terms of his probation led law enforcement on a foot pursuit and resisted arrest. Police said that they filed criminal trespass, resisting arrest and other charges against 33 year old Kyle Kreitzer for the foot pursuit on North Walnut Street February 12th. The News Item reports Kreitzer failed to report to probation so police went to his girlfriend’s home to make contact and Kreitzer exited a shed and fled. Kreitzer was previously convicted of possession and delivery of a controlled substance and flight to avoid apprehension. He is also facing additional charges of burglary, resisting arrest and criminal trespass — stemming from three separate incidents since August 2024.
