WEST CHESTER — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation launched a $100 million Community Charging program to expand public EV stations statewide. Officials say the first funding round targets Southeastern Pennsylvania, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll says the investment expands neighborhood access to chargers. About $34 million is available in the southeastern region. Officials say Pennsylvania leads the nation in NEVI stations built, with 29 completed and 54 underway. More info at pa.gov/evcommunity.
