HARRISBURG — PennLive reports Governor Josh Shapiro holds a double-digit lead in the governor’s race but faces mixed views on his White House prospects. A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Shapiro leading Republican State Treasurer Stacy Garrity 55% to 37%.
The poll shows 56% of voters approve of Shapiro’s job performance. However, 43% say he would not make a good president, while 40% say he would. The survey also shows President Donald Trump with a 55% disapproval rating in Pennsylvania. It finds voters support raising the minimum wage and legalizing recreational marijuana.
