WASHINGTON — In Washington, US Congressman Dan Meuser responded after President Trump delivered his 2026 State of the Union Address . Cong. Meuser says the speech had a positive focus on the president’ on tax relief, energy production, and strengthening public safety and national security.
The 9th District Republican says inflation has fallen to 2.4% and gas prices now average $2.98 per gallon. He also points to lower mortgage rates and what he calls progress through the Working Families Tax Cuts.
Cong. Meuser says Americans voted for higher wages and lower costs in 2024. He adds that Republicans intend to continue advancing pro-growth policies in 2026.
