SUNBURY — Forecasters say severe weather is possible afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service says a strong cold front will cross central Pennsylvania between about 2pm and 8pm .
AccuWeather warns the storms could produce damaging winds, heavy rain, and even a few tornadoes. Joe Lundberg says gusty winds will continue overnight into morning ahead of the front.
The National Weather Service says some areas could also see brief flash flooding from heavy downpours. After the storms move through, much colder air will arrive night. The forecasters say some areas could even see snow by late night.
