LEWISBURG — Bucknell University will host its 13th Annual Sustainability Symposium this week at McDonnell Commons.
Organizers say the free public event will run from noon to 5:30pm.
This year’s theme, “Tree Networks,” explores how trees connect ecosystems, human communities, and emerging technologies. Organizers say keynote speaker Dr. Beronda Montgomery will discuss science, history, and cultural perspectives related to trees.
The symposium is part of a larger campus series focused on sustainability and the environment. Organizers ask attendees to register in advance at bucknell.edu to help plan food and reduce waste for the event.
