Gregg Township Data Center Proposal Prompts Public Meeting
ALLENWOOD — A proposed data center in Gregg Township, Union County, is drawing attention as a developer plans a public meeting. The Williamsport Sun Gazette is reporting… Union County officials say they have not yet been involved in discussions about the potential project.
The newspaper reports PNK Group will host a meeting April 2 at 4pm in Allenwood. They say residents must register in advance to receive the meeting location. Commissioners say current township zoning does not allow data centers. Officials say the developer has applied to amend ordinances to permit the use in certain areas.
