DANVILLE — Geisinger began its latest Community Health Needs Assessment across northeastern and central Pennsylvania this week. Officials say the effort started and will gather data on regional health challenges and strengths.
Geisinger says it is partnering with Allied Services and Lancaster-based Build Community to conduct the assessment. Officials say the study combines public data with community feedback to guide future health priorities.
Nonprofit hospitals are required to complete the assessment every three years. Geisinger says the 2026 process will shape planning for health initiatives covering 2027 through 2029.
