LEWISBURG — Lewisburg older adults worried about falling will soon have a free chance to build strength and confidence. The Lewisburg YMCA says it’s A Matter of Balance program will help people 60 and older improve balance, flexibility, and strength.
The YMCA says the classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, through . The program is offered with the Union-Snyder Agency on Aging, with funding through the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
Certified instructor and YMCA trainer Sara Iannelli will lead the sessions at the Lewisburg YMCA. Registration is required at GSVYMCA.org, by calling 570-556-4191, or at the front desk on Hardwood Drive.
