SUNBURY — City officials say changes are coming to the annual spring cleanup as they work to improve services for residents. Director of Public Safety Andrew Ramos says the program is being restructured to better meet current community needs.
Ramos says the city is finalizing dates and details for the 2026 cleanup event. He says the goal is to make the program more efficient, more cost-effective, and more beneficial for residents.
Officials say a new targeted effort is also being developed to help residents dispose of harder-to-handle items. Ramos says the city is working with the Municipal Authority to explore better service options. Ramos asks residents for patience as details are finalized and thanks the community for helping keep Sunbury clean.
