COAL TOWNSHIP — The News Item reports the eastbound lane of Route 54 was closed to traffic in Coal Township Monday afternoon after a vehicle struck a rock wall and rolled over. The newspaper reports 19-year-old Paisley Moyer of Pottsville was driving east on Route 54 when the vehicle traveled off the road and struck a rock wall and flipped onto its roof. No other vehicles were involved. The accident was about a half mile from the Route 54 intersection with Bear Gap Drive. Moyer was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
