SUNBURY — A domestic disturbance in Sunbury led to felony charges and a weapons investigation. The Daily Item reports 28-year-old Manuel Munoz of North Fourth Street is charged after an incident night.
Police say officers responded around 10:45pm to a North Fourth Street home on the report of a domestic dispute in progress. Investigators allege Munoz pushed, shoved, and struck a woman, then grabbed her face and neck, restricting her breathing.
Officers say a search of the home uncovered devices known as “switches” used to convert firearms to fully automatic. Police say Munoz was taken into custody nearby and jailed on $50,000 bail.
