MIDDLEBURG — There was a fatal crash on Route 522 in Franklin Township, Snyder County morning. State police say the accident happened around 9:15am when a pick-up truck exiting a private driveway drove into the path of a tractor-trailer truck.
Authorities say 64-year-old Brian Shea of Middleburg was killed in the crash. The tractor-trailer driver from Mifflin County was not injured. The crash remains under investigation. The road was closed for several hours after the accident happened on Route 522 near Iron Bridge Road.
