LEWISBURG — A longtime horticulture expert will share practical landscaping advice at a free program later this month. Sunbury native Flora Eyster will speak Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Public Library for Union County.
Organizers say her talk covers plant choices, tree trimming, fertilizer decisions, and water testing for homeowners. Eyster brings experience from Bucknell greenhouses, Penn College, and Penn State’s Stuckeman School.
She also led a major interiorscape redesign at Boston’s John Hancock Tower at age 24. The program includes a Q-and-A session. Registration is encouraged at unioncountylibraries.org or by calling 570-523-1172.
