BLOOMSBURG — Police in Bloomsburg responded to an active fight on East Street that escalated into reports of gunfire nearby. Officers say the incident happened around 5:30pm in the 300 block of Catherine Street. Bloomsburg Police say two juvenile suspects were identified; one was detained while fled the scene.
They say the other juvenile remains at large. No injuries were reported. Police say the shooting appears to be targeted and there is no ongoing threat to the public. They ask residents along Iron Street toward the river to check surveillance footage and contact Officer Edgar at 570-784-4155.
