HARRISBURG — Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver hosted a statewide event highlighting career and technical education programs at the Capitol.
State Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver says students and educators gathered in the East Wing Rotunda to showcase their work.
She says the event allowed schools to present student projects and connect with lawmakers about workforce development. They say Career and Technical Education helps students build practical skills and explore career pathways.
Sen. Culver, who chairs the Senate Education Committee, says she supports continued investment in these programs. She says the event highlighted student success and educator dedication.
Participating schools included the Area Technical Institute, the Lycoming Career and Technology Center, Dauphin County Technical School, and the Schuylkill Technology Center
