LEWISBURG — Residents are being asked to weigh in on a proposed rail trail connection.
Bucknell University is hosting a short survey on the idea of extending the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail across the Susquehanna River to Montandon. Organizers say the survey takes about 4 to 5 minutes and explores respondents’ awareness of the rail trail, their level of support, and asks their concerns.
They say responses will help guide planning for recreation and transportation improvements. The Union County Trail Authority manages the trail and supports future development. Officials say participation is voluntary, and results may be shared with stakeholders. The survey is available at LewisburgNeighborhoods.org.
