DANVILLE — Danville Rotary is helping area residents clear out old electronics while keeping waste out of landfills. The club says the electronics collection runs from 10am to noon. It is at the Service 1st Federal Credit Union parking lot on Montour Boulevard. The event is open to everyone, not just Danville residents.
Rotary officials say electronics will be securely wiped clean of data, and nothing collected will go into a landfill. Recycling is free, except for TVs, which require a $20 donation. Additional donations are welcome and will support Danville Rotary service projects.
