SUNBURY — A downtown dance program is getting new life with fresh funding.
SRI announced they have received a $3,000 grant from the Community Giving Foundation. The funding comes from the C.K. Battram Field of Interest Fund. SRI says the funding will support monthly swing dance events at the Albright Center for the Arts.
Venue Manager Ed Krepps says the funding allows for live music at upcoming events, helping to expand access and community engagement. Each event features a free one-hour beginner lesson followed by a 2-hour social dance, with a $10 cover charge. More information is available at ThinkSunbury.com.
