MIFFLINBURG — A welfare check in Mifflinburg led police to charge a 34-year-old man after officers found two young children inside unsafe living conditions. NorthcentralPA.com reports officers found a crying 3-month-old infant beside an unconscious adult.
Police say 34-year-old Bradley Beardsley was passed out inside the apartment . Officers say drug paraphernalia, a large knife, moldy food, and bugs were within reach of the children.
NorthcentralPA.com reports a 4-year-old child was also inside without supervision. Police charged Beardsley with child endangerment and related offenses, while Children and Youth took custody of the children.
