MOORESBURG — Four adults and one child were left homeless after an early morning house fire in Liberty Township, Montour County. Volunteers were dispatched around 3:45am to the 90 block of Mooresburg Road and arrived to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the home.
Crews from Montour, Northumberland, Union, and Columbia counties assisted. PPL responded to shut off power. The Red Cross was contacted to help the displaced family. Crews remained on scene until nearly 8am . The cause remains under investigation.
