VALLEY TWP. — The Press Enterprise is reporting… An unidentified woman’s body was found floating in a pond near a Valley Township home Sunday morning, and state police say the death does not appear suspicious. Troopers say the investigation remains active near the Interstate 80 and Route 54 interchange.
State police say the body was discovered around 10:30am beside a home on Roberts Lane. The property sits behind the Danville Suite hotel, which has recently housed homeless residents at reduced rates. Authorities spent several hours interviewing witnesses and searching the pond bank and nearby field.
