CATAWISSA — An 81-year-old Catawissa man is facing more than 80 child pornography-related charges in Columbia County. The News-Item reports Brent Vogelbacher was charged by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
Court records say the case began with cyber tips in 2024 from Amazon and Microsoft. Investigators say a search warrant was served morning at Vogelbacher’s Main Street apartment.
The News-Item reports Vogelbacher allegedly admitted regularly viewing child sexual abuse material and knowing it was illegal. His wife also allegedly told investigators she knew about it. Vogelbacher faces 84 felony possession counts and one felony communication charge.
