RIVERSIDE — A motorcycle crash in Rush Township, Northumberland County, sent one man to Geisinger night. The Press Enterprise reports the crash happened around 7:45pm on Center Road. State police say the rider was heading south when he lost control near the Rush Township municipal building.
Southside Fire Chief Butch Kriner says witnesses called for help and stayed with the injured man. Firefighters treated him until Geisinger EMS arrived. Part of Center Road was closed for about an hour while crews waited for a wrecker. Troopers have not released the rider’s name.
