Montour Night Out Set For
DANVILLE — Montour County Public Safety Partners will host Montour Night Out near the Danville High School. The free family event runs from 6 to 8:30pm at along Ironmen Lane in Danville. Organizers say families can meet first responders, including police, fire departments, EMS, and local, state and federal law enforcement.
Health and human service groups, along with many community organizations, will also be on site. The event includes free food, including hot dogs, chips, snacks and ice cream. The theme is community, safety and partnership, with a focus on building connections and enhancing public safety.
America’s 250th Celebration Planned At Danville Airport
RIVERSIDE — Riverside Borough residents and visitors are invited to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary during a community event at the Danville Airport along Sunbury Road. Organizers say the daylong gathering will feature entertainment, food, history, and family activities honoring the nation’s founding.
The event will include live entertainment, food trucks, a car show, local vendors, historical exhibits, and a Chinese auction. Organizers say the evening will conclude with a large fireworks finale.
