DANVILLE — In Montour “County, Cooper Township man David Crawford is asking DEP for a closer review of a proposed municipal waste transfer station. Crawford says he is concerned about possible impacts to groundwater, runoff and traffic near Grovania Drive.
In written comments to DEP, Crawford says nearby residents should not become testing grounds for a waste facility. He says more studies are needed on fire suppression, stormwater runoff, wastewater flow and truck traffic.
Crawford is also asking people to learn more through a change.org petition opposing the project. Written comments to DEP are being accepted through .
