ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP — State police say a Sunbury man is jailed after troopers responded late Thursday to reports of multiple gunshots in Rockefeller Township, Northumberland County. Troopers say they were called to Twin Hill Road around 11:49pm and heard gunfire when they arrived.
State police say 48-year-old Clinton Bratton had been drinking and was involved in an altercation before getting multiple firearms. Investigators say rounds were fired into the ground, into the air and toward the Captain Bloom Road area.
Police say two other people were home at the time. Bratton faces assault, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats and related charges, and bail was denied.
