ELYSBURG — Knoebels Amusement Resort will mark its 100th anniversary with a charity golf tournament July 5. Organizers say the first Knoebels Kares Charity Golf Tournament will support scholarships and local nonprofit organizations.
Registration will begin at 8am, with a 9am shotgun start. The scramble-format tournament costs $350 for a foursome or $100 for a single golfer, who will be placed with a team.
The event will include breakfast, lunch and prizes for the top three teams. Proceeds will benefit Knoebels Kares, the park’s charitable organization, and online registration is due by June 25. More information at Knoebels.com.
