WILLIAMSPORT — First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania says it is awarding more than $403,000 in scholarships to area students. FCFP says 115 students across our region will receive support for education, career training, and professional goals.
The foundation says students from nine counties were selected through 132 scholarship funds. More than 600 students from 34 school districts completed a common application for the awards.
FCFP says the scholarships are funded by endowed gifts from individuals, families, businesses, and organizations. President and CEO Jennifer Wilson says each scholarship reflects a donor’s belief in the power of education. More information is available at FCFPartnership.org.
