HARRISBURG — WHTM reports Pennsylvania’s state budget missed its deadline for the fifth straight year. The state constitution requires a budget by midnight, but lawmakers did not finish it on time. Senate Republican leaders said they believe a full budget will be ready in a few weeks.
WHTM reports House and Senate Democrats also renewed calls to raise Pennsylvania’s $7.25 minimum wage. Democrats say House-passed wage bills have stalled in the Senate but would pass if brought up for a vote.
