SUNBURY — Bringing everyone together for fun is the purpose of an event underway in Sunbury.
Sunbury Celebration continues with free swimming at the James R. Eister Youth and Community Center on Memorial Drive. Organizers say the event runs from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., with hot dogs, water, and ice cream available while supplies last.
The City of Sunbury says the celebration is designed to bring Sunbury and surrounding communities together for free, family-friendly summer entertainment. Organizers say the event also celebrates local culture, civic pride, and community support from area businesses.
’s events move to the David L. Persing Recreational Complex. The day includes vendors, children’s activities, wrestling entertainment, Memory Lane, and fireworks (with the 94KX soundtrack!) around 9:30 p.m.
