STATE COLLEGE — Strong storms caused another 15,000 power outages across parts of central and eastern Pennsylvania Saturday. Dauphin County reported 10,000 outages, while Perry County reported 4,300.
Smaller outages were reported in Juniata, Lancaster, Northampton, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. Several roads were also closed by fallen trees and wires. Saturday rainfall totals generally ranged from one-quarter to one-half inch. Air quality improved to “good” after wildfire smoke cleared.
National Weather Service says Sunday will be mostly sunny and less humid, with continued improvement in air quality.
