NEW COLUMBIA — State police say additional charges were filed against 41-year-old Steven Richard Tarr II of New Columbia. Investigators allege Tarr sent nude photos to a woman posing online as an 11-year-old girl. Police say Tarr admitted using an unregistered X account and communicating with someone he believed was a child.
Tarr faces felony charges including corruption of minors and criminal use of a communication facility. He also faces another charge for allegedly providing inaccurate Megan’s Law registration information. Bail was set at $75,000, and Tarr remains in Union County Prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 18.
