SUNBURY — The region offers several family-friendly events this weekend, including a fundraiser, an outdoor recreation expo, a science celebration, and a youth business event.
- Sunbury Fire Police Yard Sale — Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sunbury ice-skating rink on Memorial Drive. Proceeds support equipment, vehicle maintenance, and other Fire Police needs.
- Susquehanna Greenway Outdoor Expo — Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shikellamy State Park Marina. The free event features more than 50 exhibitors, demonstrations, family activities, and prize drawings.
- Oxygen Day in the Garden — Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Joseph Priestley House in Northumberland. The free event celebrates Priestley’s discovery of oxygen with tours, science demonstrations, music, children’s activities, and refreshments.
- Lemonade Day Northumberland — Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. in King Street Park. Young entrepreneurs will operate lemonade stands while learning business and customer service skills.
