BLOOMSBURG — Lethan Candlish survived a traumatic brain injury, then faced the difficult task of rediscovering who he was. Now, the Bloomsburg native is sharing that deeply personal journey to help others facing life-changing challenges.
Candlish says storytelling helped him accept his changing identity and recognize that every person’s experience deserves to be heard. His presentation, “Who Am I, Again?,” blends humor, vulnerability, resilience, and hope.
The event at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble will also explore how shared stories can create empathy, understanding and healing. Rehabilitation specialists will join Candlish afterward for a discussion about recovery and rebuilding life after brain injury.
