DANVILLE — Geisinger in Danville is restricting NICU visitation after a recent visitor tested positive for measles. Geisinger says only parents or legal guardians without measles symptoms may now enter the unit. The visitor was on the Danville campus from August 14 through August 17.
Geisinger says the person only visited the NICU and Ronald McDonald House Danville. Anyone in those areas during that period should monitor for symptoms and contact a doctor with concerns. Geisinger says vaccinated people are at far lower risk than those who are unvaccinated.
