HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania voters could see their first televised gubernatorial debate in eight years. Governor Josh Shapiro’s campaign says he has accepted an invitation from ABC27 to debate Republican challenger and State Treasurer Stacy Garrity.
Garrity has called for as many as seven debates statewide. Her campaign has also accepted invitations for debates hosted by the Pennsylvania Chamber and KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. A date for the ABC27 debate has not yet been announced. The last Pennsylvania gubernatorial debate was in 2018. The general election is .
