SHAMOKIN — A third suspect was jailed in connection with ’s shooting in Shamokin’s Fifth Ward. Police say 50-year-old Anthony Carrington was arraigned and held on $500,000 bail.
Carrington faces felony aggravated assault, firing into an occupied structure, conspiracy and several misdemeanor charges. Police allege Carrington was struck by shotgun fire before returning fire with a 9mm handgun.
Investigators recovered eight 9mm shell casings, and police say one round struck a nearby occupied home. Two other suspects, 41-year-old Armando Reyes and 48-year-old Anjanette Carrington-McQueen, were previously jailed on $500,000 bail.
