WASHINGTON — Pennsylvania’s US Senators John Fetterman and Dave McCormick are calling for less heated political rhetoric following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Sen. Fetterman is a democrat and Sen. McCormick is a republican, they called for ‘bipartisan calm.’
Appearing together on Bret Baier’s “Common Ground,” Fetterman said critics should “allow folks enough space to grieve” and warned, “Do not ever, ever, ever compare anyone to Hitler.” McCormick added that labeling opponents as fascists dehumanizes them and contributes to violence.
