KULPMONT — A Kulpmont man was arrested after an hours-long standoff at his Spruce Street home. The News-Item reports 50-year-old Frank Marasco allegedly threatened a garage worker and later barricaded himself inside his house. Police say Marasco told officers he was armed with a bat and a firearm.
Multiple departments responded, using tear gas and a Taser before taking him into custody from an attic crawl space. Marasco faces several misdemeanor charges and is being held in Northumberland County Jail pending arraignment.
