SELINSGROVE — Susquehanna University has appointed the Rev. Kristina “Stina” Schaeffer as its next chaplain and director of Religious and Spiritual Life. University officials say Schaeffer, a 2004 S-U graduate, brings more than 15 years of ministry leadership experience. The previous chaplain, Rev. Scott Kershner, resigned last year.
She currently serves as assistant to the bishop for mobility and transition in the Upper Susquehanna Synod and leads Salem Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove. Schaeffer begins her new role Dec. 1, continuing her mission of supporting students in faith and community. More information is available at www.susqu.edu.
