DANVILLE — Geisinger says it is donating $275,000 to food banks across the state to help people affected by the ongoing US government shutdown. They say the contribution will support regional partners including the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank which distributes food to local pantries and cupboards.
President and CEO Dr. Terry Gilliland says being the best means caring for one another and for the communities they serve. Those in need of help can visit NeighborlyPA.com for a statewide directory of food pantries, mobile distributions, community meals, and heating assistance.
