A single mother from Sunbury reached out to the Salvation Army for the first time a year ago and said she greatly appreciated the help she received during the holiday season. The Daily Item reports she is again asking for assistance from the Salvation Army’s Here. For Good campaign to help make the holidays special for her 6-year-old daughter. As a single mom, she says she can use the assistance, especially during this time of year. The Here. For Good campaign is administered by the Salvation Army citadels in Milton and Sunbury and sponsored by the Daily Item, Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and Central Penn Bank & Trust.
