HARRISBURG — New Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority loads are going out.
New PIDA loans are supporting business growth in Snyder and Dauphin counties. Officials say Penn Dairy in Winfield is receiving a $2 million loan to build a new warehouse and loading dock, boosting production, and adding five jobs while retaining 33 positions.
Meantime, the state says Mid Atlantic Machinery in Middletown will use a $2.25 million loan to buy a larger industrial facility as the company expands. They’ll be starting a robotics and advanced manufacturing initiative. That project is expected to create three jobs and retain 50 positions.
