Woman Arrested After Mifflinburg Disturbance
MIFFLINBURG — In Mifflinburg, police arrested a woman Thursday after a disturbance at a business led to reports of a possible kidnapping. According to northcentralPA.com, officers responded just before 5pm to an area along Route 45, East Chestnut Street.
Police say a 24-year-old Middleburg man reported he was assaulted nearby, officers later charged 46-year-old Karla Lynn Cornwell as the alleged attacker. Police say Cornwell approached officers and was taken into custody without incident. She faces assault, weapons, and drug charges. Police could not verify any kidnapping occurred.
