DANVILLE — The Danville Area Community Center is launching what leaders call a Year of Renovations this year. Officials say the effort includes major facility upgrades and a new preschool program. In a newly released YouTube update, Chief Operating Officer Heather Laubach outlines construction timelines and member impacts, “Now phasing into this year in 2026, it will be the spring season, pool HVAC renovation, as well as lower ramp demolition and re-installation, of the outside lower ramp area, at almost the same time in the spring, which will be about March or April.”
She says their capital campaign supports infrastructure upgrades and expanded program space. The preschool, called Here We Grow Again, will serve area families, with half of seats reserved for low to moderate income households.
