RIVERSIDE — In Riverside, drivers may see trains stopping short of the intersection and flaggers directing traffic due to railroad crossing issues. Officials say Norfolk Southern will conduct repairs between 9am and 3pm.
During that time, officials say the left turn lane on Route 54 East coming off the bridge will be blocked. They say flaggers will direct traffic, and drivers will still be able to make the left turn. They say a new railroad crossing is tentatively scheduled for installation , and updated traffic routing will be shared when approved.
