SUNBURY — Susquehanna Valley United Way is mobilizing hundreds of volunteers for its annual Day of Action across the region. The event returns , bringing teams together in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties for hands-on service projects.
Organizers say more than 390 volunteers supported 37 nonprofit sites last year. President and CEO Mark Stankiewicz says the day reflects the spirit of “United is the Way,” strengthening local organizations so they can continue serving neighbors.
United Way is now recruiting volunteers and nonprofits needing one-day project help. Registration is open through at svuw.org/dayofaction or by calling 570-360-5009.
